14 weeks

So yeah... I should just give up on trying to post updates over the weekend, because I just keep failing! haha

How far along?  14 weeks, 5 days.

Weight gain/loss:   Up 3.0 pounds (!) from last week, which puts me at exactly 2.0 pounds above my pre-pregnancy weight.  FINALLY making some progress!

Maternity clothes?  Still just pants.

Stretch marks?  Nope.

Sleep?  For some reason, I have just been exhausted again lately.  I can barely stay awake.  Also still waking up at least once per night to use the bathroom.

Best moment this week?  I am going to cheat and say "all meal times"... I FINALLY have my appetite back and can eat (almost) anything again without wanting to puke!  I also found out this week that I won't be losing my job (and health insurance!), which is a huge relief!

Food cravings:  Cheese!  Just these past few days, I have eaten cheese fries, macaroni and cheese, cheese taquitos, and toasted (cheese) raviolis.  Still can't eat chicken or beef though.

Gender:  I still say boy.  DH still thinks girl.

Belly button in or out?  In.

Movement?  I thought maybe I felt a few flutters this past week, but I'm not sure if it was Baby C or just my dinner rumbling around.  I only really notice it when I am laying down and really paying attention, and only every once in awhile.  I can't wait to start feeling some definite movements though!

What I miss?  Nothing.  :-)

What I'm looking forward to:  My next appointment (June 1st).  I'm hoping we'll finally be able to hear the heartbeat on doppler, and that we can schedule our anatomy scan!

Milestones:  Being able to eat food again, and actually gaining some weight instead of losing it!

  1. Yay!! 14 weeks!! I'm glad you are able to have your appetite back and are able to eat a lot more :) I can't believe in just 6 weeks you'll be 20 wks and you'll find out if baby M is a boy or girl!!! I think boy :)

  2. Thanks! :-) I know, I can't believe it either. Although we actually aren't finding out what our baby is until he or she is born. So we have a bit more of a wait! haha
